Very impressive line-up of actors in this British TV adaptation. Jacobi puts up a great performance as Frollo, torn between his affections for the bell ringer and his desire for the enchanting Esmeralda - played by Leslie-Anne Down. And Anthony Hopkins as Quasimodo guaranties devotion to the character and excellent acting.
 
The two durations implies that the US version was edited.
